Since 1991 artist and designer Lisa Issenberg has specialized in innovative, custom metalwork, creating unique, three-dimensional functional pieces. Her work ranges from delicate, detailed jewelry to large-scale architectural installations, all of which originate in the Issenberg Design studio in southwestern Colorado.
In addition to jewelry and railings, Issenberg’s projects include sculptural donor walls, festival awards, municipal projects, furniture, garden fountains, and wall hangings. Her inspired municipal kiosks and bear-resistant trash receptacles have brought Issenberg well-earned recognition and provide an undeniable local flavor to the towns that commissioned them.
Issenberg Design is proud to include among its clients: the Town of Telluride, the Town of Crested Butte, the Telluride Historical Museum, the Telluride Medical Center, the Michael D. Palm Theater, private homeowners and various festival and charitable organizations. Her jewelry has been represented by The Whitney Museum Store and The International Center of Photography in New York City, as well as galleries in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The Telluride Gallery of Fine Art has represented Issenberg’s jewelry since 1994.
